Welcome to the UPS® Forwarding Hub (UFH)! We’re excited to have you on board and ready to streamline your shipping needs. To get started, follow these simple steps to set up your profile and avoid potential shipping delays.
Step 1: Create Your Profile
The first thing you’ll need to do is create your profile on the UPS Forwarding Hub by signing up.
Provide your basic details, including your name, email address, and company information.
Once registered, verify your email to ensure your account is activated. Your profile will serve as the foundation for all your shipping activities, so make sure the details are accurate and complete.

Step 2: Request a GFF Account Number
Next, you’ll need to request a Global Freight Forwarding (GFF) Account Number. This number is essential for accessing the full suite of our freight forwarding shipping tools and services.
You can request your GFF Account Number via your UFH 'Dashboard' on the 'Profile Setup' tile.
Click 'Set up new account number'
Fill in 'Account Setup Form' fields
Account number request can take up to 48 business hours to process by our global accounts team. Once your request is approved, you’ll receive your unique account details, which will be used to manage, quote, book and track your shipments.
Step 3: Link Your 9-Digit Account Number
Once your GFF Account Number has been approved, the final step is to link it to your UPS Forwarding Hub profile. Linking your account streamlines your shipment processing and ensures you receive the best rates during quoting.
Important: Small package account numbers cannot be linked to your UFH profile. You must have a freight shipping account number.
Link your new account number via your UFH 'Dashboard' on the 'Profile Setup' tile. (see images below).

Click 'Link an existing account number'
Select Yes, if you have your account number already.
Select No, if you need to request an account number.
You will need to correctly answer the security validation questions associated with your account in order to successfully link the account.
Once your account is linked, you can begin quoting straight away and enjoy seamless integration of your shipping history and preferences.
