Overview

Understanding how to access, complete, and upload a credit application is essential for simplifying your billing experience with UPS. This process ensures that your application is handled efficiently, enabling you to take full advantage of UPS credit services. 


Key things to know: 


  • For credit consideration you will need to provide your last 3 bank statements, so have those handy as you go through the approval process.


  • If you are approved for credit, you will be billed for payment after your shipment and not required to pay in advance.


  • If you are disapproved, no worries, you can still ship your cargo with us, however, you will be required to pay for your shipment in advance. Based on your selected payment terms, payment will either be required before pickup (or drop off at a UPS service center) or prior to delivery (or pickup from a UPS service center).

How to Access a Credit Application in UFH

To apply for credit for an existing UPS (GFF) account number, follow the steps below.

Navigate to your 'Dashboard'


Locate the 'Setting Up for Success' tile, 


Click 'Apply for Credit'











 


Select 'My Account Setup'









Locate the 'Credit Application' section 


Download the pre-filled 'US Credit Application' form to your computer


Now you're ready to fill-out your downloaded form!



How to Fill-out a Credit Application

Applying for credit with UPS can streamline your billing and payment processes, providing flexibility and convenience for your shipping needs. This section will guide you through the steps to accurately complete your credit application  


'Open the pre-filled application' you downloaded to your computer and confirm all details are accurate. 


'Update any additional required fields' that may not have been auto filled.  


Save and 'Sign' the application


Now you are ready to submit your application.



How to Submit Your Credit Application Request in UFH

Once you have saved and signed your credit application it's time to upload it for processing. Follow the next steps to request credit status be applied to your account.


Return to the account setup section in UFH.  If you are not sure how to access the section take a look at the first topic in this article 'How to Access a Credit Application in UFH' to navigate your way back to the document area.


Select 'Upload' in the 'My Account Setup area in UFH

'Drag & Drop' your saved Credit application file here or 'click upload' to navigate to the form on your computer


Confirm that the file successfully uploaded 


You are finished!


To check the status of your approval, visit your address book and view the linked account number to see if credit has been granted.  Processing can vary depending on the applicant but are normally handled within 48-72 hours after receipt of forms.
