How to Properly Label Air Freight Shipments

Having proper labeling can help you avoid delays.  Here are six tips to help ensure your freight is prepared and ready for transport. 



Tip 1:
 Palletize your shipment



Tip 2: Use labels that big and legible



Tip 3: Staple label to all four sides of your wooden crate or pallet



Tip 4: Make sure your label has the receivers name and destination address



Tip 5: Place address and contact information inside your packaging too



Tip 6: Don't forget to sign your Waybill or Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI)
